I and other support professionals gathered to dig deeper into this critical topic. When difficult conversations occur, we ask:

“How do I approach my boss about a difficult conversation?”
“How do I engage in a conversation with a challenging co-worker?”
During this workshop, attendees learned steps to:
- Manage challenging and tough conversations by incorporating phrases for situations
- Understand body language and situations
- Timing and approach
- Offer your best solution
- Techniques for approaching your boss
- Strategies to approach challenging co-workers
- Activities, exercises, role playing and other methods to help you practice techniques to interpret and maneuver awkward and difficult conversations
